Circular on fire NOC for industries in Gujarat

Urban Development Authority has released a circular on fire NOC for the factory to be obtained from Director of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH). Fire department under local authority will continue to issue fire NOC for residential and commercial establishment.

All factories who have obtained fire NOC from fire department from local authority, may approach to DISH for renewal upon expiry of existing fire NOC.

In order to return to the above subject, Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Officers 3Ls 2014 has been amended vide Notification No.:- GH/V/18 of 2021/AGA1-10221-16-L 1 of this Department dated 08/07/2021. .(copy enclosed) according to which all measures regarding grey prevention life safety measures in factories have to be done under the Factories Act 1948 which is being conducted through the office of the Inspector of Factories.
